This discrimination issue is a travesty, not of christianity, but of humanity, I’m really sorry there are people out there who won’t accept difference of opinion or who ridicule certain beliefs.
Please, functioning members of society, be nice to everyone, don’t hate because of irrelevent beliefs.

I’m a Christian, but even I think that’s stupid. Your kid should be able to play with any other kid regardless of your beliefs. Religion is a dangerous thing when it’s used in a negative way. I’m not going to convince all the atheists here to convert themselves because we’re all given the freewill to make our own choices. I believe in God, if you don’t then all I can do is pray for you, but ultimately it is your choice. If anyone of a religion forces their beliefs on you, then I apologize.

I am a Christian who has had friends who were atheists. However, I don’t see MOST atheists having any moral compass besides what they decide is right. The parents umed that you don’t have a basic moral ethic. They might be wrong and you may be RELATIVELY moral compared even to many so-called Christians. But their reaction is consistent with their worldview that God is the author of morality and man’s relativistic morality is not to be trusted.
