A cruel statement, but a true one. I have a skill. When peers of my trade see me work they stand back take notes, and value my opinion. Because I take the time to do it right with an understanding of why I’m doing what I do. Yet I’m unemployed. I’m unemployed because a guy in a suit in a glass office, decided that some guy off the street with limited knowledge and experience that will work for 1/2 the pay i was OFFERED when I started working, is a better fit for the job I did. War on work…

you know, hes right though. Going to school for 4 years to be a carpenter and going to school for 4 years to be an IT guy have such a different view coming from media and from social attitudes.
Being blue-collar myself, i notice it more and more, and its pretty degrading. People who think they’re better than you because they dont get their hands dirty need a swift kick back to reality, especially vain (most) women.

Q: WHY DOES OUR SOCIETY / SYSTEM PAY MUCH HIGHER MONEY & GIVE HIGHER VALUE TO SOME DESK JOBS (ie: BANKERS, POLITICIANS, LAYWERS etc) AND NOT TO MOST SKILLED, EXPERIENCED PEOPLE WHO DO SO-CALLED DIRTY JOBS?
I can only think of two exceptions; DOCTORS & SURGEONS.
At some time in our lives we’ll all need the skill of a nurse, but will we really need a banker?
