No, I lent my videos to a man I work with- for his wife and daughter to enjoy. He brought them back, saying HE loved it,too, and bought his own copy. He said he watches often! Me, too! Love that Darcy!

Out of all the P&P versions, this is by far my favorite, however the most acurate version to the book in characters and actions is actualy the 1980 version with Elizabeth Garvie and David Rintoul. If I could change few actors and put them in the 1995 it will be like this:Colin Firth= Darcy (1995)Gemma Arterton= Elizabeth (from Lost in Austen 2008)Rosamund Pike= Jane Bennet (2005)Rupert Friend = George Wickham (2005)Malcolm Rennie= Mr Collins (1980)

I’m sorry but the Keira Knightly versionis good, (the music is awesome)but the A&E version is the book from front to back…and superior in every way! Colin Firth IS MR DARCY

This scene could have been developed so much more with a seventh episode. I also would have liked to have seen the weeks leading up to the wedding; the part where Elizabeth inquires after Darcy as to when he came to fall in love with her is one of my favourite parts in the book. “I cannot fix on the hour, or the spot, or the look, or the words, which laid the foundation. It is too long ago. I was in the middle before I knew that I had begun.” A scene or two at Pemberley would have been nice too!

Haha me too, took me a while to figure out she was just annoying Jane.
